Pricing and Quotation
How much does household shifting cost in Mumbai?
The cost of household shifting in Mumbai depends on the size of your home, distance, floor access, and volume of goods. A 1BHK local shift typically starts from ₹3,000 to ₹8,000. A 2BHK or 3BHK may range from ₹6,000 to ₹20,000+ depending on these factors. We provide a free detailed quote after a quick survey.
Do you provide a written quotation before the move?
Yes, always. We never begin a move without a written, itemised quote that both parties have agreed to. There are no surprise charges added on the day of the move.
Are there any hidden charges I should know about?
No hidden charges. Our quotes include packing materials, labour, vehicle, and applicable service charges. If any additional charge is required (for example, crane service for high-floor items), it is discussed and agreed upon before the move day.
Do you charge extra for stairs or buildings without a lift?
A nominal floor charge may apply for buildings without an elevator, especially for heavy items or floors above the 4th. This is clearly mentioned in your written quote after the survey.
Packing and Moving Process
Do I need to provide packing materials?
No. We bring all packing materials — bubble wrap, corrugated boxes, foam sheets, stretch film, packing tape, and furniture blankets. You do not need to arrange anything yourself.
Will you disassemble my furniture and reassemble it at the new place?
Yes. We disassemble beds, wardrobes, dining tables, modular kitchen units, and other furniture before packing and reassemble them at the destination. This is included in our standard household shifting service.
How do you handle fragile items like glassware and electronics?
Fragile items receive extra layers of bubble wrap, foam cushioning, and custom-sized cartons. Electronics are wrapped in anti-static packaging. All fragile boxes are clearly labelled and loaded last with care.
How far in advance should I book my move?
For local moves, 3–5 days in advance is ideal. For intercity moves, 1–2 weeks allows for proper planning. During peak season (October–March), earlier booking is recommended as slots fill up quickly.
Vehicle Transport
Do you transport cars and bikes along with household goods?
Yes. We can coordinate vehicle transport alongside your household move. Cars are transported on enclosed carriers and bikes in wooden crates, separately from your household goods, to ensure maximum safety for both.
What documents are required for car or bike transport?
You will need a copy of the vehicle's RC book, your photo ID (Aadhaar or PAN), and a copy of the vehicle insurance policy. We will help you with the booking documentation process.
Is my vehicle insured during transport?
We offer optional transit insurance for all vehicle shipments. This is a separate policy covering the vehicle for damage or total loss from loading to delivery. We strongly recommend it for all vehicles.
Storage Services
What is the minimum duration for using your storage facility?
Our minimum storage period is 1 week. After that, you can extend on a monthly basis with no long-term commitment required.
Is your storage facility secure?
Yes. Our warehouses are CCTV-monitored 24/7, dry and ventilated, with restricted staff access. Every stored consignment is inventoried and kept in a dedicated area.
Can I access my stored goods during the storage period?
Yes. With 24 hours' prior notice, you can visit our warehouse to retrieve items or we can arrange delivery of specific items to your address during the storage period.
Insurance and Safety
Is transit insurance mandatory?
Transit insurance is optional but strongly recommended, especially for long-distance moves or high-value items. It is a small additional cost that provides full coverage against damage or loss during transport.
What happens if something gets damaged during the move?
If a damage occurs and transit insurance was taken, a claim is filed and processed. Even without insurance, we investigate every reported damage case and work towards a fair resolution. Our packing standards are specifically designed to prevent damage.
Are your staff background-verified?
Yes. All our field staff including packers, loaders, and drivers undergo background verification before joining our team. For corporate assignments, our staff sign NDAs as required.
